Long Tail Ruby Snapper
It is also called ruby snapper or scarlet snapper, due to it’s brilliant red color. These have a unique profile with distinctive caudal fins that end in long, slender points.

Long tail ruby snapper are found at depths ranging from 300 to 1,000 feet (90 to 300 meters) in the Indo-Pacific region. They are commonly caught in vertical fishing with electric reels, using baited hooks and chum bags.
